I'm over 70 and still so much to learn!
I was a classics teacher since 1975, image was part of my pedagogy. In 1997, I had to reconvert because of early deafness and during this time I wrote two books.
Entering a world of almost total silence in 2009, I was soon immersed in photography.
The use that I was then making of my camera was between the blind's white cane and the lifebelt. But it was also a weapon to destroy reality. Then I rebuilt it, step-by-step. It is still difficult to me to face reality.
Dominique Menachem Lardet
You have here the work of a self-taught photographer author who likes the most often short focal lengths (35mm) and the manual mode, does not give any barrier other than its insufficiencies and dreams of showing in its photos what can induce, in particular, restriction of communication, deprivation of music.
New barriers, new freedom.
"Silence has no contours like space has no boundaries." (Malcolm de Chazal)
